Yellow Chair and Primary Homeroom Teacher

A native of Canada, Christy-sensei has resided in Australia for eight years. Since her high school days, she has been teaching students as young as six months old. She dedicated her career to teaching, with a specialisation in English instruction spanning over a decade. In May 2024, she embarked on a new chapter in her life by relocating to Japan, driven by her desire to immerse herself in the country’s captivating culture. Upon her arrival, Christy-sensei commenced tutoring students preparing for the Eiken exams (英検) and the common university entrance test (大学入学共通テスト).
Teaching is one of her biggest passions and she is excited to continue this passion with the students that attend Polku every year.

クリスティ先生はカナダ出身で、オーストラリアにも8年間住んでいたことがあります。クリスティ先生は高校時代から、生後6ヶ月から6歳の子供たちが過ごすデイケアで働いた経験を持ち、英語講師としてのキャリアは10年以上になります。そして2024年5月に日本文化に惹かれ日本に移住し、人生の新章をスタートしたところです！日本では、英検や大学入試共通テストの対策を家庭教師として指導してきました。教えることに何より情熱を持っているクリスティ先生！これからはポルクの子供たちに向けて、その情熱を発揮することを楽しみにしています。
